Just over the border between Yorkshire and Lancashire is a tiny, secluded village that might be one of the most charming in England. However, there is a nearby car park withing short walking distance of the village. In the village, you’ll find a perfect little stream, crossed by picturesque bridges, all of which are protected monuments. Although conservationists at Historic England don’t know when the oldest bridge was constructed, it is thought by some to date back thousands of years.
