Ive used this route many times and always find it relaxing and quaint some terrific veiws and lovely costal towns, the fish market in the harbour at trouville is good value compared to its counterpart across the bridge. And the hotel overlooking the beach at arromach is lovely.

Spectacular drive over Pont de Normandie bridge from Le Havre. Take coast road past D Day beaches, Pegasus bridge etc., good hotel in Isigny[Hotel de France} courtyard parking, then main road to St.Mere Eglise. Useful bike shop Carentan on right as you enter from North.
