My friends and I just did this route yesterday July 26. The journey up 400 and 11 to 60 isn´t the greatest. A concrete jungle most of the way and then nothing special and a lot of highway traffic. BUT, BUT, BUT, when you hit Hwy 35 its absolutely jaw dropping scenery all the way South to Hwy 48. That coupled with the twisty roads and awesome weather made it an absolutely worth it ride! I do recommend stopping at the Dorset Lookout Tower on the way down (http://www.algonquinhighlands.ca/?cat=recreation&subPage=lookout_tower). It´s a $3 entrance fee for motorcycles but it´s well worth it. Go on a clear day and you can see for miles! I´ll be making my own route which will focus on Hwy 35 and will cut through the Algonquin park. Should be a killer ride for the fall! Stay safe my friends and ride, ride, ride!
North of toronto. stay the night to enjoy the scenery.
