Fanastic scenery and fantastic road. Think road was built in the eighties and even though narrow still fairly predictable so possible to maintain decent speed. In my book there are more fun curves than hairpins but the 29 curves down to Lysebotn are really good fun. 10 times better than Stelvio! This is a must-do road! When getting to Lysebotn you can take the ferry to Stavanger, nice cruise. Only departes once or twice a day and could be smart pre-booking. Or just ride back.
Truly one of the best biking roads around. That is, if you like twisties and spectacular scenery. Only minus is that for long streches the road is narrow, so pass with caution. There is lots of information about the road on a dedicated website www.suleskarvegen.no

Yes, that is snow you see as white. It was so cold up there that there were still patches of snow. I put on my long wool underwear (in June!).
