Nice twisty, pleasant surroundings (Ola has described nicely)..
This is one of the official tourist roads of Norway. It takes you past farms and apple orchards through some very lovely scenery on mostly good roads. Theres a climb and descent midway with some nice hairpins and twists through the forest. Some sections are bumpy, but not too bad. You can buy apples, cherries and plums from roadside stands, practically fresh off the tree. You can also visit the summer ski resort at Folgefonna glacier, about 15 km from Jondal. Dont worry about skiing, youll just break an ankle. Get yourself a nice lefse (delicious sweet pastry) in Jondal and enjoy it with a cup of coffee and a view of the glacier.

The road to Folgefonna is a real rollercoaster.
