This is my favourite route to take if I just want a ride out in the evenings. The road is nice to just chill out on and take in the veiws. Its a bit too bumpy to go really fast on. Nice to get to Hunstanton and see some other bikers. Never seen a copper on this road. I usually take the B1454 from heacham back to Fakenham and then home. Another quick stretch of road which you can really open your bike up on!
Thundercat600This is my fav Sunday morning route. Take the B1146 from Dereham to Fakenham then the B1105 to Wells. Some lovely rolling roads and nice bends but the plod tend to hang out there in the Summer (but they are usually clearly visible so if you have your wits about you you'll be fine). There's some nice Chippies in Wells but the car park attendant is a jobsworth so have a stroll and move on. A few bikes gather here in the summer but the the majority go to Hunstanton. From Wells head along the A149 to Hunstanton - some great straights and some amazing corners but the Sunday drivers have a habit of stopping dead for crossing seaguls so beware. Usually lots of bikers on this stretch - generally all heading to or from Hunstanton. You tend to get a hundred of so bikes gather in the Summer all lined up along the seafront like a dominos disaster waiting to happen, heaven forbid! - Good place to meet, eat and watch the world go by.
