This is a pleasant ride with nice scenery. The national speed limit is regularly interupted with 40mph limits which can be a shame. The road surface is poor in most places but the undulations and corners are fun. There are not a great many places to safely overtake. Overall I would say that this is a road to kep you on your toes but at the same time leave you feeling relaxed.
poor road surface (very poor in places!) far too many junctions and villages for my liking! not a fan
A nice flowing route that's relatively uncrowded (in South Eastern terms). Recommended stop on this route, the White Horse in Hackleton.
