From Abington, Cambridge. head along A1307 to Haverhill, Suffolk. take the A143 to Bury st Edmunds. then the A134 to Thetford. From Thetford take the B1075 to Dereham and then the B1110 to Guist and then on to Holt. Visit some coastal villages before heading back on the A148 to Fakenham A1065 to Swaffham and Barton mills and the A1101 back to Bury st Edmunds and the A143 home.
