Not a road for pushing the limits. Watch out for 4x4's and minibuses towing trailers loaded with canoes. They really do keep the speed up even round the bends, taking them quite wide to get the trailer round. But great scenery if you get time to look at it
This stretch is a proper challenge. It is tight, narrow and often badly surfaced, with some gravel and plenty of tar patches to melt under your tyres. But it is a road from heaven. The scenery is jaw-dropping and it does open out a bit in places allowing some higher speeds. Go there.
Totally agree... Just to add that the road surface is really bad...
Some film also attached
Just to say I agree with the comments already posted about this road 100 percent
Not a brilliant riding road, too tight and twisty, but the scenery is outstanding. Take the D907 that rund diagonally between millau and Mende, it's signposted Gorge du Tarn at the Mende end. Take your time to admire the views, have a raft ride down the rapids and take in the stunning new bridge at Millau.
