Stunning high speed run over approx 65km of newly surfaced road. From both directions you are introduced to the pass by a fairly sudden left/right sharp corners. Once in the pass you are surrounded by the mountains and the river below. If you are in it for the photo ops there are plenty of places to pull over. The only hazard, this goes for all the Western Cape passes, are the troops of baboons.
